Erika Norén is one of the designers we collaborate with. Based in Skåne – close to both city and countryside – she creates patterns that possess something truly unique: an ability to move between contrasts and transform them into something you want on your wall every day.
Erika's world is influenced by drama, retro, and nostalgia – but its roots are deeply embedded in nature. She grew up near Flororna, a large bog and forest area in northern Uppland, and that feeling has never truly left her. Perhaps it is precisely the tension between the wild and the urban, between the analog and the digital, that makes her patterns so vibrant.
As a designer and illustrator, Erika primarily works with digital tools – but she gladly incorporates traditional techniques when the feeling demands it. It is this combination of precision and handcrafted warmth that gives her patterns their character.
It is this kind of artistry that Reveal is built upon.
